It's seminar season again.
In September we held the "It's all about Income Seminar" where I discussed several ways to receive higher yields on safe investments. Many clients were impressed with the new Manulife Advantage account that provides 2.35% on chequing accounts. If you are interested, give me a call. As well, I discussed GICs, GIAs, bonds, preferred shares, income trusts and annuities. Many income alternatives were discussed at this seminar. In October, we were very fortunate to have Jamie Hyndman join us from Franklin Templeton. Jamie gave us an overview of the Private Client Portfolio Mangement team at Franklin Templeton and how clients with assets of $ 1,000,000 or more can receive direct portfolio management utilizing his conservative investment style. This makes for a formidable combination of experience when it is teamed up with my Financial Planning Advisory services.
We will be having our 12th Annual Christmas party in our offices on Friday, December 17th starting at 1:30 pm. and going until 3:30pm. Please stop by for some Very Merry Christmas Cheer! Refreshments and good times included.
