Tom Jarvis is married to Christine and is a father of two teenagers. Tom�s ten-year career in road construction culminated as a Site Superintendent for one of the largest contractors in Ontario. Tom and Christine were also the owners/operators of two retail stores with nine staff for eight years.

In 1999 Tom started with Ross Dixon Financial Services as a Branch Manager and moved to DundeeWealth when they amalgamated with Ross Dixon in 2002. Tom's professional credentials include being an Accredited Mortgage Professional with the Canadian Institute of Mortgage Brokers & Lenders, a Certified Financial Planner with the Financial Planners Standards Council.  Tom is an Investment Advisor in Ontario & British Columbia and is a Life Insurance Agent as per the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

Tom's diversified experiences make him unique in our industry for dealing with self employed individuals and people involved in real estate investments and development.

Tom's current interests include hunting, outdoor recreation, farming and recreational volleyball.

Tom is dedicated to being an active member in the community and has been involved with the following volunteer and charitable organizations;

Darren O'Halloran [email protected]

Darren O�Halloran graduated with an Honours in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1996.  Darren has been in the financial industry since 1998 when he started with Hewmac Investment Services as a financial advisor, then went on to work at Ross Dixon Financial Services when the companies merged.  Darren has been working under the DundeeWealth name since 2002 when they amalgamated with Ross Dixon. He received his Certified Financial Planner designation from the Financial Planners Standards Council in 2001 and has completed the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct & Practices Course.  Darren also is a Life Insurance Agent.

Darren's strengths lie in his attention to detail, number crunching and a thorough understanding of investment products and managers.  Darren is able to assemble and organize information to determine a concrete plan to best fit into his clients circumstances and goals.

Darren�s involvement with BNI (Business Networking International) has been rewarded as he was twice voted Member of the Year for the Orillia Chapter.  Darren is a strong supporter of the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and other animal welfare organizations.  Darren and his long term girlfriend Jennifer own a few rental properties together, and Darren's current interests include snowmobiling, golf, Nascar, hockey, TV, music and recreational volleyball.

Jennifer Racho has been a member of the administrative staff for the Orillia office of DundeeWealth since 2004 and is a licensed assistant.  Jennifer graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a double major in Sociology and Administrative & Commercial Studies.

Laura Uttley [email protected]

Laura Uttley has been working in the financial services industry for several years and joins us from the Barrie DundeeWealth office where she was the executive assistant to the senior advisor.  During her time in the financial industry she has successfully completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course and has worked as a financial advisor, financial administrator and assistant to financial advisors.  Laura assisted in research, creating power point presentations and securing significant charitable donations, and introducing speakers for charitable organizations such as Barrie Community Foundation, Big Brothers, Big Sisters Golf for Kids' Sake events.  Laura also assisted in coordinating speaking engagements with Rainbows Canada and various planned giving symposiums.  Laura is thrilled to be working back in her own community and looking forward to having the opportunity to contribute to Orillia's charitable community.  Laura is on the Board of Directors for the Orillia Community Foundation and was the Chairperson for the Sponsorship Committee for the Snowbirds visit.  She also serves as a director on the Investment Committee for the Orillia Community Foundation.

Wendy Readman [email protected]

Wendy Readman is married to Brian and they have three grown children. She enjoys spending her free time with her eight grandchildren supporting them with their numerous endeavours. Wendy grew up here in the community which has given her an opportunity to work in various roles which include human resources, office administrator for the newly created Orillia Manufacturers� Association and now with Dundee Securities Corporation in an administrative role.
